How much clearance is needed in the back of this Vogelzang cast iron Rancher wood stove with large flat-top cooking surface?
This is not a UL listed stove, so the clearance to the back of the stove will be 36". You may be able to reduce this to 12", using 24 gauge sheet metal spaced out 1" and covered with brick or stone, but your local code office will have to provide approval for an NFPA 211 method of clearance reduction.
