Lift your spirits with a glowing fire in your hearth this winter. This heavy-duty standard fireplace grate will make building and maintaining your fire easy! The 3/4" solid steel bars cradle the wood and keep logs from spreading, or rolling out of the fireplace, which means your fire will burn hotter longer. The 3 inches of clearance under the crossbar not only provide plenty of air flow, but also allow plenty of room to clear ashes away after the fire has burned out. This grate measures 36 inches wide in front, 32 inches wide in back, and has a total depth of 14 inches.

Not What Was Shown Online
The grate I received is quite nice, but it?s not what was shown online. The bars are shaped like diamonds instead of the square shape that was shown in the photos. Other than that, I?m happy.

High End Grate!
This grate is a nice, heavy duty grate that we have been using for around two months now. We live in Florida, where the temperatures can drop quickly. This grate doesn?t sag or show any proof of wear other than some of the paint peeling from the high temperatures. This grate has provided us with some draft assistance that we did not get with our OEM grate. If you purchase this one, you will definitely be happy with its durability and high quality craftsmanship. It also allows the logs to move to the middle of the bottom, which makes it really easy to add new logs.

Nice for the Price
