Crafted in 100% virgin wool fibers, the colors saturate the fibers down to the core. This is a high quality crafted rug that will be sure to please. The wide borders are done in complementary colors and the fibers are flame retardant as well, providing much needed protection for your floors whether it's in front of your fireplace or in your front hall. Although these rugs can be used anywhere in your home to brighten up a bath or kitchen, they are not suitable for outdoor use.

Terrific hearth rug I love, and so does my cat.
The rug is beautiful, thick, and looks great in my iris painted living room. If you have a cat or cats who likes to scratch thick rugs like my cat does, think about it because my rug now has a very fuzzy top. I choose not to watch him all the time nor reprimand him He's doing what comes naturally even though I have scratching posts.

hearth rug
We received our hearth rug and found the quality to be great! However, the color we had expected was not what we got. It was called "dusk" and the rug was lavendar in the center with a "dusk" color in the border. It unfortunately did not go with with our decor. We contacted customer service at efireplace and Chris was a great help. He contacted the manufacturer who had the original package with the rug picked up at our home and our credit card was refunded the full price.
