Is it recommended to use multiple whips? As in if we send extensions up, should we add a whip onto each extension or every other one, etc?
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on December 27, 2013
Answer:Per the manufacturer, this system is only designed for use with a single whip. However, the whip is very effective and will serve well to remove even heavy creosote deposits.

Will this tool remove mud bird nests from the chimney?
By eFireplaceStore on August 20, 2014
This product is primarily intended for creosote removal and does not do particularly well against stubborn blockages. A better tool to use would be the AW Perkins Chimney Cleaning Harpoon with TLC Connector
. This tool is designed to puncture through and break up bird and squirrel nests, as well as debris pulled in by raccoons.

The description says that this item consists of 11 strands of .155" diameter shark tooth whip line. How long of flue will this clean? I need to clean a 6" diameter, stainless steel flue, that is 30' tall.
