Bill from Hoosick Falls, NY asked:
Can this item be used to cap a through-the-roof range hood vent pipe in a high wind area?
Can this item be used to cap a through-the-roof range hood vent pipe in a high wind area?
Certainly. This cap is designed to fit both Class A and Type B vents. It can also be used in lower temperature applications that use PVC. Because it is a push-in type of cap, I highly recommend using metal screws to secure it once it is installed.
