Features
- Plain FlexWrap
- Used for sealing between the shroud of an insert and fireplace facing
- Also used for replacing the insulation between frames of glass doors and fireplace facing
- 1/2" x 24" x 25' roll
- 1/2" x 48" x 25' roll
- 1" x 24" x 25' roll
- 1" x 48" x 5' L
Adding insulation around your chimney and chimney liner is important when installing your vent system. This insulatino is not designed to be used around the exterior of chimney liners, but it can fill in gaps along the edge of your chimney and create additional insulation for your vent system. With this sealant, you can seal the area between the shroud and facing of your fireplace, and you can replace old or worn out insulation. Each roll comes with up to 25 feet of insulation, giving you enough material to insulate a whole heating appliance.

I am looking for ceramic wrap to go around the chimney flue. About the last two feet which is single walled. That needs to be insulated so creosote does not buildup.
This 1 Inch Thick Ceramic Wool Insulation may work best for you.
