- Sleek black finish
Heat-Fab manufactures high - quality, seam - welded chimney liners and components, and this Tee Cover is no exception. Made with 22 gauge 304 alloy stainless steel construction, this Tee Cover is designed to be used with the Heat-Fab line of black welded stovepipes that measure 8 in. inner diameter-to cover an unused offset. All Heat-Fab products and liners are UL listed to 1777 standard with 1 in. clearance for combustibles using their Saf-T Wrap technology.

What is the inner diameter of this cap? Does it go over the end of the pipe? Is it really "stainless steel" as I see in the product description?
This cap does indeed go over the end of the associated tee and has an inside diameter of 8 1/16 inches. Both this cap and the associated tee are indeed made of black painted stainless steel.
