Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

Tom B. from Schoharie, NY asked:
Can standard steel 7 stove pipe be connected to this? Also, if this is in a horizontal run on the exterior of a building, will it rust through? I have used galvanized and black flue pipe and both rust within 2 years.

It can be connected however it is not designed to be used as freestanding pipe.  This product is designed for the relining of existing masonry chimney systems and is not approved for installation outside of those conditions.
