This welded steel 5 bar fire grate by Copperfield is made of 5/8 in. bar stock, and is one of the many fine fireplace accessories Copperfield makes. The leg height on this sturdy and convenient grate is 3 1/2 in., and holds your logs into place, preventing them from rolling out of the fire while burning. Not only that, this grate allows for proper air flow around your fire, making it a nicer, more even burn. This grate makes fireplace cleanup easy also by keeping the ashes in a centralized place beneath the grate.

The 18" width listed is to the outside of the legs at the front of the grate.
