- Safely and securely holds your wood logs in place
Simplify your fire building and cleanup by installing this six-bar steel fire grate. The grate holds logs securely in place, preventing them from rolling out of the fireplace during burning. It also leaves a centralized pile of ashes for easier cleanup, and it provides good air flow around and underneath the wood for more efficient burning. Made of heavy welded 5/8" steel bars, this grate will last for years of use. Its dimensions will fit most standard fireplaces.

Per the supplier, the 12" depth is from the bars in the front to the bars in the rear.
