This paint can indeed be used on vent pipes.

Is this Gas Vent paint acceptable for using on shiny brass-colored metal and plastic parts on this wood-burning stove insert?
This paint can indeed be used to paint high luster surfaces, however it should only be used on a surface that will not exceed 250 degrees. Any higher temperature exposure will cause the paint to lose its coloration.

While your door can be prepped and painted with high temperature paint, I do not recommend using this vent paint, as it is limited to a temperature rating of 250 degrees F.

Can this be used to paint the front vents/facing of an indoor gas fireplace?
Our fireplace and stove paints are indeed safe for this purpose. Any of our stove or vent paints can be used to refinish the facing and surround of your fireplace, however, they cannot be used on the interior of the unit.
