Can I use this stove paint on the firebrick inside my fireplace?
As long as the firebrick has been thoroughly cleaned, you can certainly use this paint. It is worth mentioning that some discoloration near the hottest parts of the firebox is normal and will require repainting from time to time.

Can this be use to paint the inside of a firebox that is going to have gas logs installed?
Yes, this paint can be used in a gas firebox. However, over time the paint may eventually peel and crack due to the heat. The paint will not withstand any direct contact with flames.
