How durable is this to scuffs and scratches?
How durable is this to scuffs and scratches?
As an owner of the type 2 version of this exact stove board, I definitely recommend making sure you place sections of cardboard or some other material underneath each stove leg while moving the stove into its final position for installation. If this is not done, the stove legs will scratch the slate tile surface. For the type 1 version in question, this is constructed with a 1" steel frame coated with a special paint and a 1/2" noncombustible substrate beneath the (actual) slate tile surface.
