I have Selkirk SuperVent 6-inch inside diameter with 2-inch insulated wall; 10" total diameter. Will this peak flashing fit this pipe?
By Tyler M. - Fireplace Specialist on January 2, 2013
Answer:Unfortunately, no. This peak roof flashing is meant for Secure-Temp pipes with an 8" outer diameter.

Does this peak flashing simply attach onto (not under) the shingles?
By Tyler M. - Fireplace Specialist on September 25, 2012
Answer:This flashing is meant to be installed underneath the shingles. You would lift up the shingles and place this flashing on your peak and then lay the shingles back down over the flashing with shingle nails.

Will a double wall 6" pipe that measures 8" outside diameter fit in to this peak roof flashing?
By Tyler M. - Fireplace Specialist on March 15, 2012
Answer:Yes, this flashing is made for Secure Temp class A chimney pipe with an 8 inch outer diameter. Please advise on the manufacturer of your pipe, as we also carry flashings for Simpson DuraVent DuraTech and Selkirk SuperPro pipe that also have a 2-inch difference between inner diameter (6") and outer diameter (8").

I need a flashing for the wood stove pipe that goes through the peak of the roof. It's a stainless steel pipe, 6" for the inside pipe and 8" for the outer pipe.
Do you have peak flashing for 8" pipe? What metal are your flashings made of?
By Tyler M. - Fireplace Specialist on February 27, 2013
Answer:This is the only peak flashing we carry, and it is suitable for use for Class A chimney pipes with an 8" outer diameter such as yours. Most of our flashings are made of galvanized metal.
