- 8" inner diameter and 9 1/8" outer diameter
- 25-year warranty
Required to connect Vermont Castings stoves to Dura-Vent's DVL Stovepipe, this 8-Inch Vermont Castings Oval to Round Pipe Adaptor fits directly onto the appliance's flue. This venting accessory shares DVL's twenty-five-year warranty.
DVL Applications - Double-wall interior stovepipe for connecting woodstoves to manufactured chimney.
Materials and Construction - .016" stainless steel inner wall. .018" galvanized outer, painted black.
Clearances - 6" clearance to walls. 8" clearance to ceilings, including cathedral ceilings.
Listings - c-UL-us listed to ULC S641 (MH14089).

How do I seal the adapter to the stove? Do I use refractory cement only or should I use rope gasket as well?
The use of a furnace cement would indeed be useful in sealing the gaps from the flue collar atop the stove to the oval to round adapter.
