Venting a pellet appliance through a chimney? With this Dura-Vent PelletVent Pro Flex Pipe Trim Collar you can connect PelletVent Pro to masonry chimneys with a flexible stainless steel liner. The female end swivels for easy alignment and, like all PelletVent Pro components, this collar comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Applications - PelletVent Pro is a venting system designed for stoves and inserts that use wood pellet and oil fuel. (Rated for continuous use flue temperatures up to 570 degrees Fahrenheit.)

Materials and Construction - Laser-welded, double-wall pipe with an inner wall of .012" stainless steel and a .018" laser-welded galvalume outer wall. Painted black exterior available.

Clearances - 1" clearance to combustibles in the USA for appliances using wood pellets or oil. 1" clearance to combustibles in Canada for oil-burning (type L vent) appliances. 3" clearance to combustibles in Canada for wood pellet-burning appliances.

Listings - c-UL-us Listed to UL 641 (MH8381 and MH14420). ULC Listed to ULC S609, ULC/ORD C441 (CMH1439 and CMH1440).

I have a 7 inch opening used for a woodstove now I want to switch to a pellet stove. How would I adapt a 3inch pellet pipe to this 7 inch opening see attached pictures

Answer:

I'm sorry, but we do not offer an adaptor such as you describe. You could either try to run L-vent (pellet vent) pipe through this pipe, if feasible (our 3" PelletVent Pro pipe has an outside diameter of 3 5/8"), or have something fabricated that would connect and seal pellet vent pipe to this pipe you have in the wall.
