This Dura-Vent DirectVent Pro Galvanized 36-Inch Vent Pipe - 46DVA-36 has a 4 in. inner diameter, and 6 5/8 in. outer diameter. The pipe is constructed with a .020 aluminum inner wall and 26 gauge galvanized steel outer wall for strength and durability and is approved for use with most heating appliance ventilation systems. Can this pipe be cut (shorter) to fit?
No, this pipe cannot be cut. However, we do offer shorter lengths and adjustable extensions for the 46DVA product line.

Vent pipe
The double wall pipe was new to me. I didn't know about the inner pipe and the outer pipe all in one. I have never owned a stove before.
Pros
The 4" inner pipe does a great job getting rid of the gas while the 6" outer pipe does a great job bringing in fresh air to feed the flame.
