Stovepipes are used to connect stoves to the chimney vents, and each installation is unique. You may need to increase the diameter of your stovepipe from 6" to 7" and this adaptor makes it possible. The male end if 6" and the female end if 7". Like other Snap-Lock components, this one is made of 24-gauge steel and has a sleek black finish to match. When installed, the part requires an 18" clearance to combustible materials.

Will this work with a 6" Amerivent pipe?
It depends on the classification of the Amerivent pipe. If it is a type B gas vent, then, no, this stovepipe will not work with it. If it is a class A chimney pipe for solid fuel, then it may work, but you would need to get the appropriate chimney adaptor.

Just the Piece I Needed
I replaced an old wood burning stove with a 7in exhaust. I couldn't find any place locally with a 6 to 7 inch transition. I was so happy that this store carried it. Otherwise, I was going to have to replace the piping that went through the roof.
