How does it install and work?
By Collin C. on November 3, 2011
Answer:
This blower will install in the bottom of Vantage Hearth fireplaces, beneath an access panel in the floor. The blower will draw cool air through the bottom louvers on the face of the fireplace, then circulate the air around the back of the unit and out the top louvers. The heat from the chassis of the unit allows the air to be warmed substantially. The blower control will have long enough wiring to mount the control on the face of the unit. It has a variable control knob that will activate the blower and control the speed. It functions much like a light dimmer.

Will this blower work or fit in a Forester Fireplace insert? The blower that is in there now does not work anymore.

Answer:
We do not sell a blower made for your particular model, and all of our blowers are model-specific. We apologize for this inconvenience.
