This squirrel cage type of blower by Vantage can be used in a wide variety of Vantage Hearth wood burning, direct vent, and vent free fireplaces. If the blower is to be used in a B-vent type of firebox you must also use a separately purchased rolled louver plate. You should consult the owner's manual to see if your particular fireplace model is listed as compatible with this blower.
