I am interested in the DSF36C, is there any options like the color of the brick. Also is there a picture of the different options for trim kit. I could not tell the difference between the curved design and medium black design. An my final question is what is the best remote for this model.

The DFS36PVC comes standard without the brick liner. You are free to choose between Cottage Clay or Cottage Red liners. We can special order the Cottage Clay line, if you'd prefer it. Please follow this link to view the Cottage Red liner.

Majestic 36 Inch Cottage Red Ceramic Fiber Firebrick - For 36 Inch VFH Gas Fireplaces and Universal VF Vent Free Circulating Fireboxes

Unfortunately, we do not have any images available displaying the curved design of this trim kit. These trim kits actually curve out from the wall. Their edges are still square. The remote that provides the most options for this unit is Ambient's RCMT (our part number CUI-RCMT). It offers on/off control, thermostatic functionality and a timer. You may view it here:

Does this item come with a blower, or will it handle an optional blower? What blower can be used with it?
