It uses natural and generates up to 35,000 BTU with a 76% AFUE. The unit uses a reliable standing pilot and includes a 24V electric thermostat and a counterflow blower to help circulate the heat. An automatic safety shut-off works to keep you and your family. Cleaning and servicing is easily accomplished because the front panels are removable. The combustion chamber has a 10-yeaer warranty and there is a 1-year limited warranty for parts. The dimensions of the furnace are 72 1/2" H x 14 1/8" W x 10 3/8" D. The minimum clearances are 4" on the top, 4" on the side or 18" with CUI-SOR1 side register, 0" from bottom of unit to floor.
