A floor pad for your heater or furnace serves several different purposes. It will provide a safety layer of insulation between your heating appliance and the floor, it will protect your floor from the weight of the appliance, and it will give things an overall more complete look. This floor pad in particular has been manufactured by Empire, a family-owned company since 1932, and has been designed specifically for use with Empire's RH25 and RH35 console gas room heaters, and Empire's DV40E and DV55E high-efficiency direct vent wall furnaces.
