The unvented fireplace gives you the freedom of placing the burner where you would most like it. Are you a do-it-yourself person? The manual control option for the burner is perfect for you. If you would prefer to not have to get up to turn on the fire, the remote control with the on/off button is a better option for you. The versatility of this burner with the authentic ponderosa logs adds class to your home.

Please Note: The fireplace's Middle Width must be at least 22.5 Inches and the Depth must be at least 14 Inches for this gas log set to fit. You can calculate the middle width of your firebox by measuring the width (left to right) approximately half way back in the firebox. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect size gas log set.

Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

John from lawrenceville,Ga. asked:
What is the difference between vfse-18p and the vfsr18lp on the ponderosa log sets?
What is the difference between vfse-18p and the vfsr18lp on the ponderosa log sets?
The VFSE version would arrive with a full-function thermostatic remote that would provide battery-powered electronic spark ignition of the pilot and adjustment of the burner flame height. The VFSR version is a standing pilot millivolt system that would not arrive with a remote and would instead arrive with a basic On/Off rocker switch hidden in a decorative log chunk. A remote, wall switch, thermostatic remote or wall thermostat may be added to the VFSR at an additional cost and used as a substitute for the On/Off switch, but the pilot will still need to be lit using the gas controls and any of the optional controls will simply turn the burner flame Off and On.
