Need some vent free gas logs to complement the sassy new look of your fireplace? Try the Empire Sassafras Refractory Gas Log Set. These lifelike natural gas logs have a front width of 18 inches and a middle width of 22.5 inches to fit a more compact firebox. They are equipped with a state-of-the-art millivolt slope glaze burner to emit realistic-looking flames that generate up to 32K BTUs of heat. Plus, you can turn your flames off or on with a simple push of a button.

Please Note: The fireplace's Middle Width must be at least 22.5 Inches and the Depth must be at least 14 Inches for this gas log set to fit. You can calculate the middle width of your firebox by measuring the width (left to right) approximately half way back in the firebox. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect size gas log set.

Inserts are not generally rated for gas log use. They're thick cast iron bodies are simply not rated to have gas lines installed through them. It would be a better idea to remove the insert and then install the log set into your fireplace.
