This particular gas fireplace log set and burner is designed for contemporary multi-view fireplaces. It lets everyone enjoy the warming flames from all corners of your living room. We offer three sizes of the multi-view burner to choose from - 18-inch, 24-inch and 30-inch - and they provide up to 40,000 BTU. Ceramic beads inside the burner tumble around which give the flame a realistic flicker. The multi-view burner fits peninsula style fireboxes as well as see-through styles. The millivolt or the intermittent pilot burners both turn on with switches, but can also operate with the Empire remote control. No more dirty logs or messy ashes to deal with.
Please Note: The fireplace's Middle Width must be at least 32 Inches and the Depth must be at least 17 Inches for this gas log set to fit. You can calculate the middle width of your firebox by measuring the width (left to right) approximately half way back in the firebox. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect size gas log set.

Does this come with a remote? Is there a way to add an electronic on/off switch near the mantle as well, in lieu of the switch on the kit?
Yes, you can also install a simple on/off switch on the wall adjacent to the fireplace.
