What is the difference between the insulated model and the non insulated one? What are the advantages of the insulation? Also what is the price for the outside air intake and glass doors?

Answer:
An insulated unit is recommended when installing on an exterior wall. The insulation prevents cold air from entering through the fireplace when it is not in use. The available glass doors for either unit can be found by clicking the Accessories tab from each unit's item page. The outside air kit for these units can be found by clicking the below link.

What is the difference between this "full insulation" model and the non-full insulation models. I'm also unsure about the ember protector installation. Is this a part that I can purchase from you? Do you have any more detailed instructions on the installation of it?

Answer:
A fully insulated firebox is recommended for installation on an exterior, non-insulated wall. This type of firebox is insulated to prevent cold outdoor temperatures from entering the room.
An ember protector is simply a metal strip, 28 gauge or thicker, that is installed beneath the front edge of the firebox. It must extend beneath the firebox at least 1 1/2". It should also extend beneath the hearth extension in front of the firebox. It serves to prevent any embers from falling through the gap between the front of the firebox and the hearth extension and damaging the floor beneath. A standard flat ember protector will be included with the firebox.
