    Customer Questions & Answers

Is there any way to find out how tall & wide the back panel is? I'm reasonably certain that the Breckenridge Premium firebox has very similar specs to our odd-ball firebox (even if i have to modify/trim the panels for a perfect fit) and was hoping you could check with the manufacturer to find out the actual panel dimensions. Can you help me with this?
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on September 27, 2013

    Answer:
I was not successful with the manufacturer, however our distributor was kind enough to pull a liner from stock and measure the panels. Measurements are as follows:

Rear panel - 26 inches tall by 28 5/16 inches wide
    Side panels - 26 1/2 inches tall by 17 1/4 inches wide

All panels are 1 inch nominal thickness.

Can this be installed in a standard fireplace? I have one and it probably needs relining in the fire box. It is a propane fire with fake wood logs. If your liners will work, how would I adhere the liner to the sides of my fireplace?
By Kevin E. - Fireplace Specialist on February 22, 2012

    Answer:
This liner is designed specifically for Empire's Breckenridge Premium line of fireplaces. We should be able to find a liner kit for your unit. Please reply with the manufacturer and model number of your fireplace and we'd be happy to search for a unit for you. Otherwise, please follow the below link to view our universal fit liner kits.

    Beautiful and Realistic, but...

I would recommend this item to a friend.
From an artist eye, I can say these panels are among the best looking and most realistic that I've found. They are visually perfect in color and detail and will make any fireplace look great. They are very fragile panels and must be handled with great care during installation. These are not hard ceramic type panels, but rather a delicate 'Styrofoam-like' substance that crumbles easily. Just take gentle care during the install and appreciate the beauty for years to come.
    Pros:
Absolutely beautiful and very realistic looking (so says a very particular artist).
    Cons:
Very fragile, requiring very gentle handling during installation. Just lifting the panel from horizontal to vertical can cause it to break in two if not properly supported.
