If you want to increase the temperature without building a chimney, an Empire burner may be for you. The Empire Loft Multi-Sided Vent-free Contemporary Gas Burner can be put in the wall, in an art installation, or under a mantel as a traditional fireplace. However, it has more than one side, so it can also be put in a peninsula and used as a see-through fireplace. Add decorative glass to enhance its design and accessorize your room. It is 36,000 BTU (24 inches). It burns liquid propane or natural gas. Comes with a remote to control the flame height and thermostat. Choose from millivolt or intermittent pilot. American-made.

Please Note: The fireplace's Middle Width must be at least 32 Inches and the Depth must be at least 17.5 Inches for this gas log set to fit. You can calculate the middle width of your firebox by measuring the width (left to right) approximately half way back in the firebox. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect size gas log set.

The BTU output on the lowest setting while using Propane fuel is 27,000 BTU.

Can you tell me the exact color/finish of the decorative top of this burner and the necessary amount of sq ft of decorative glass?
The standard burner is flat black, though there are options for either a polished black decorative cover or a stainless steel decorative cover. The manufacturer recommends 3 square feet of glass media for this burner.
