I wish to place these beautiful ceramic panels into a different brand of firebox (Majestic M36 with vent-free burner) and am in need of the height & width measurements of these panels. I realize that I may need to make modifications to get them properly mounted and fit. Could you inform me of the size of each panel (back and angled sides)?

Answer:My apologies, but we do not have access to these panels to measure them. Because they are indeed intended for another model of fireplace, the manufacturer does not provide dimensions. Going by the diagram of the unit they are meant for, the side panels appear to be approximately 12 inches in depth and 20 inches in height. The rear panel appears to be slightly wider and around 16 inches, with the same height. I apologize that I cannot provide more accurate dimensions.

On the page that the above item is shown, on your website, there is another choice for See-Thru Vent-Free Fireplaces - Flush Firebox Panel Kit. It doesn't specifically mention it (It says no image available) but my question is, is this the kit to get, that will be the Stacked Limestone finish for the See -Thru Vent-Free 36 in boxes? We wish to replace our Banded Brick liner with Stacked Limestone. If not can we not retro-fit a stacked limestone kit for a 36 " vent free as shown above toour See-Thru Model?

Answer:The "flush firebox panel kit" that is mentioned is actually designed to replace the louvers on a see thru fireplace, with smooth panels. This would allow you to cover the face of the fireplace with a finishing material of your choosing.
However, there may be a stacked limestone kit available for the Vail see-thru fireplace. Just to verify, do you currently have a 36" Vail see-thru unit or is your unit made by another manufacturer?
