    Do you install these inserts?
By Tyler M. - NFI Certified Specialist on February 20, 2014

    Answer:
We do not offer any installation services, nor are we associated with any installers in your area.

However, you may want to visit the National Fireplace Institute's website at www.NFICertified.org. Once there, click on the picture that says "Public" on the right side of the page, and then enter your zip code. You should see a list of certified specialists in your area; you will want to find a "Woodburning Specialist" for this application.

Do I need any kind of adapter on top of these inserts to vent through my chimney or is there a slide in and insulation that I need to put on the sides and back?
By eFireplaceStore on December 15, 2014

    Answer:
This unit must be installed with a liner adapter and a length of flexible stainless liner routed up the chimney flue. Without the liner in place, the insert will not draw properly. A complete kit that can be used with this model is the DuraFlex 6 Inch Diameter x 15 Foot Long Kit of 304-Alloy Light Chimney Liner. Longer kits for taller chimneys are also available.

How do you clean the flue of a Flame Fireplace Insert?
By eFireplaceStore on December 18, 2015

    Answer:
In order to properly clean the liner, the metal air tubes that run across the top of the firebox must be removed. There are retaining pins that hold them in place. Once removed, the ceramic baffles can then be pulled out of position, exposing the flue. From there, you can close the door and begin sweeping from the top down, allowing ash to collect in the combustion chamber to be vacuumed out later. You must then install the baffles and air tubes again.

Oh yeah - and they want it to look great without breaking the bank, too. Luckily no fireplace insert on the market beats a Flame insert for quality and craftsmanship, and nobody beats us for low prices and great service, so Efireplacestore.com is the perfect place for that special type of customer to find the right deal on the Flame fireplace insert they're after.
