I am interested in buying a wood-burning stove to heat my workshop. Shop size is 30' X 60' and is 16' at the eaves. General looks are not a consideration. The shop is located in Arkansas, where temperatures rarely go below 20 degrees F. Are WB stoves rated in BTU, and if so what rating would you suggest?

Answer:
Indeed, wood stoves are rated by BTU. For your application, I would recommend an appliance capable of around 60,000 to 65,000 BTU. Please follow the below link to view a stove listed on our site. Timberwolf 2200. The Timberwolf is basically a no-frills version of Napoleon's other stoves, but still packs all the efficient heat production of the other units.
