This heater generates a 9' radius of heat that will let you extend the enjoyment of your patio even when the nights have become a little chilly. It uses standard household current and uses a 1500 watt lamp that will last for approximately 5,000 hours. The exterior has a powder-coated finish and the unit comes with an aluminum cover shield to protect it when not in use. The unit is virtually silent and will produce no UV rays, emissions, or toxic residuals. This heater actually uses only 1/10 the energy of LPH heaters and operates with 90% efficiency. It can be installed indoors or outdoors and comes with a mounting bracket. The design is CSA approved.

Does this patio heater require a dedicated 20 amp circuit? Can I put a dimmer switch on it?
It is possible to get by with a dedicated 15 amp circuit for this heater, but 20 amps is recommended. This heater is strictly on and off only. A rheostat should not be used.
