If you like the southwestern style, you will want to have this hearth rug in front of your fireplace. It has a design that is reminiscent of pueblo-style woven rugs and will retain its color through lots of use. It is made of 100% 2-ply heat-set olefin that resists soil and dirt and meets the 1631 FF1-70 Surface Flammability Test requirements. The rug's approximate dimensions are 25" x 42".
Please Note: Rug color will vary from the display photo.
Also Note: A non-skid pad is recommended for hard surfaces.

Because every monitor is different, the actual rug may not look exactly like the image on our website.

While not fireproof, the rug is indeed designed to protect the surface underneath from such burns.
