I currently have a Superior model EST-48 and it receives s 12 inch flu pipe. I need 12 feet of pipe and the top that goes with it. Is this 12 inch FMI/Superior vent pipe the correct item for my model?
By eFireplaceStore on March 28, 2016
Answer:Unfortunately, the vent pipe you are looking for and the lines of Superior pipe was carry are not compatible. The product you are looking for was manufactured by Superior before their merger with Lennox. The current Superior brand is the result of another merger between Lennox and FMI. Although the name is the same, the pipe is very different. I'm afraid you will need to search out a dealer that still may have some of the older TF pipe series on hand, as what we have will not work.

How far should this FMI chimney extend past the top of my wood chase?
By Brennan W. on April 15, 2015
Answer:The height above the chase is up to you, so long as the venting extends a minimum of 3 feet in height above the highest point where it passes through the roof and must be at least 2 feet above the highest point of the roof that is within a horizontal distance of 10 feet.
