This spool provides 132 feet of 3/8" black gasket rope that is appropriate for most wood stoves and fireplace inserts. The rope is made with OEM-quality fiberglass that has been impregnated with graphite to provide resistance to abrasion and wear. The rope resists the buildup of creosote and its black color matches the color of most stoves. Replacing worn gasket is accomplished by removing the old rope and adhesive, and cementing the new rope in place.

Is this rope packing circular or square?
This rope gasket is indeed round with a diameter of 3/8".

Is this graphite all the way through or just on the outside?
This product is graphite impregnated, so it will have the graphite powder forced into the entire width of the gasket.
