This log lighters' intended use is to be used exclusively to light firewood in the fireplace.

There are no optional feet. The air mixer connects directly to the gas pipe.

Is this suitable for outdoor use in a brick fireplace? Are the threads 1/2 inch?
While the threads are 1/2 inch, this item would not be suitable for use outdoors. It is a cast iron log lighter that will rust and corrode when exposed to the elements.

Perfect replacement
This replaces an old log lighter that had totally worn out. The pipe broke off after a few years of use. Easy fix.
