This Triple Fan Blower is for use with FMI fireboxes. The Blower attaches to the firebox magnetically and is used to propel heated air from the firebox and into the room. This creates greater air circulation which, in turn, heats the room much more effectively and efficiently.

Does this blower have a plug on it to be used with a standard outlet? What is the difference between this triple fan blower and the rotary blower kit?

Answer:

This blower does indeed feature a three-prong electrical cord. The main difference between this BK3 blower and the BK, aside from the styling, is that the BK3 only features single speed control. The BK features variable speed control.

Answer:

This FMI specific blower measures 17 3/4" long by 5" tall by 2" deep. Each fan is about 3 3/4" wide.

What are the dimensions of these fans individually, and what is the overall dimensions of the unit?

Answer:

According to FMI, this blower measures 17 3/4" long, 5" tall, and 2" deep. The individual fans measure about 3 3/4" across. This fan is only recommended for use with compatible FMI or Vantage Hearth units, as it may not generate proper airflow in other models.

I have a fireplace insert. The opening is beneath the door causing ashes to fall into the fan motor causing the fan to burned out within one year. When this happened we bought another one. It burned out in one year also. If I buy this triple fan it needs to have a u shape covering so when we open the door it will be protected. Can you make one.
