Consider Superior when you're dreaming of your perfect outdoor or patio fireplace! The WRE3000 Outdoor Wood-Burning Firebox allows you to create the outdoor living space of your dreams. This spacious firebox features incredibly sturdy stainless steel construction and a luxe brushed steel faceplate. The included log grate lifts firewood off the firebox floor to provide plenty of airflow and space for ashes and embers to settle. The WRE3000 is versatile, too, with a gas line knockout in case you would rather fit it with vented gas logs.

Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 8" inner diameter.

Please Note: This model directly replaces the obsolete FMI 36 Inch Tuscan Outdoor Woodburning Firebox (S36RH).

A drain pan would be recommended if you are building this into a freestanding structure with no cover or overhang.

Will your WRE3036WH, WRE3036WS box accept ventless logs?
Will your WRE3036WH, WRE3036WS box accept ventless logs?
While these fireplaces will indeed accept a ventless gas log set, technically, by code, you are still required to have the woodburning chimney components installed to this firebox. The alternative is to purchase a similar outdoor vent-free gas firebox, which of course does not have a flue collar.

Absolutely Fabulous

We had the Superior 36" 3000 series fireplace installed on a new screened porch at our lakeside home. Owen at efilreplacestore was fantastic, helped us with the initial ordering and helped with several more calls with our contractor to ensure everything was safe and to code. Everything came well packaged and arrived intact. This was the first time we shopped here, but we can't say enough great things about efireplacestore. We wanted a fireplace on the porch, but the focal point of the room is the view of the lake, so the 36" box installed in a corner was the perfect choice. We had it framed with just the chimney coming out the top so the view is as unobstructed as possible. We finished it with a hearth made from the same rough timbers that support the roof, a "mantle fascia" of driftwood from the lake, and some mosaic tile. The fireplace draws perfectly in all weather, looks great, and appears well constructed for outdoor installation. We are super pleased.
