Can we use gel fuel with glass in an outdoor fire pit? Can you pour it over the glass and burn it that way?

Gel fuel is only designed for use in the containers that it comes in, as it is a highly gelatinous material that is not able to be poured. Bio ethanol fuel is a liquid, but it too is designed only to be burned in special fuel trays. Direct contact with glass would most likely cause discoloration.
Running out of fuel for your outdoor gel fireplace or burner? We carry many of the most popular brands of gel fuel, including Jensen and SunJel.
