- Heavy-duty cast iron fireplace grate
- Adjustable-slope, self-feeding design
- Manufactured and distributed by Hy-C
- Safely and securely holds your wood logs in place
- Can be expanded using the expansion section or can be used in tandem with one another
This heavy-duty fireplace grate will keep a good oxygen flow to your fire by elevating the logs off the floor of the hearth. The self-feeding design encourages the logs to roll toward the center which encourages a more complete burn. The grate can be expanded with the expansion section. It is shipped knocked down in a carton but assembly is quick and easy. The front width is 24", rear width 20", and the depth 16". The grate weighs 27 lbs.

Super sturdy!!
I think that this grate is very sturdy and will last a long time. Quite a bit heavier than the other one that I had. We have used it and it seems to fit our needs. You can tilt the grate if you like. You can also add a section to it if desired at a later date.
