- Each guard has a 16 in. x 16 in. base and 5 in. height
- Constructed of heavy-duty 18 gauge painted black expanded galvanized steel mesh
- Prevents birds, animals, and other pests from entering through roof vents
- Many vents and/or roof guards are made of plastic or have window screening, which can be chewed through by a variety of pests - they cannot chew through this steel guard
- Once inside animal pests can damage the home itself, chew through wiring, and cause leaks leading to expensive repairs
- Variety of sizes available to secure common roof elements like static vents, dryer vents, power ventilators, and other venting devices
Various home appliances vent to the outside, including heating appliances, stoves, and dryers. Protecting these outlets from weather, debris, and animals is paramount to protecting your home. This set of three vent guards allows you to cover the openings while at the same time maintaining good air escape. Made of 18-gauge galvanized steel and painted black, these guards will not be penetrated by the gnawing teeth of critters or corroded by wind and rain. The 16-inch x 16-inch base and 5-inch height allow placement over any external ventilation system.

Squirrel problem solved!
I needed to keep the squirrels out of my roof vents, but without penetrating the flat roof. These sturdy wire cages do the job perfectly. I just put a brick on top of each one to hold them down. No more squirrels!
