The board is approximately 1/2 inch thick and weigh approximately 20 pounds.

I'm just verifying that this/another stove board can be used under a pellet stove.
A stove board can and should be used under a pellet stove, however, specific measurements of the stove board, along with a minimum K or R value will be described in the installation manual for your stove. I highly recommend checking this information prior to ordering.
