If you regularly have marks on your carpet from soot or ashes that escape from your fireplace, a stove board can help you eliminate these unsightly stains. With a stove board in place, you can extend the protection of your hearth a few feet and limit the amount of damage caused by your fire. With this small hearth extender, you can prevent damage resulting from sparks, embers, or heat expelled from any type of heating appliance.

Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

Bill from Euclid, OH asked:
Can a stove be placed on this unit as you would use a hearth pad?
Can a stove be placed on this unit as you would use a hearth pad?
This hearth pad is indeed designed to bear the weight of a standard wood stove. The steel wrapper that is used in construction of this unit is fairly thin however. As such, the stove should be lifted into position over the pad and set down carefully. Excess force can dimple or scratch the pad.
