The framing dimensions for the 36" firebox are 35 1/2" wide, 21 1/2" tall and 17" deep. You can see these illustrated on page 7 of the owner's manual

I'm wondering how strong the fan is on this firebox. Does it have variable speeds? Also, does the fan pick up heat from above the firebox or is it only from the sides and/or bottom?
By eFireplaceStore on November 11, 2014
Answer:The accessory fan for this model has a 200 CFM output, which is on the higher side of air movement for current blowers. The fan is on/off only, but it can be equipped with a thermal switch and rheostat control for automatic and variable speed operation. The fan picks up heat from the bottom, back, and sides of the inner firebox chassis.

I am interested in this fireplace and would like to know what gas logs you recommend to purchase with it. Can you help me?
By Tyler M. - NFI Certified Specialist on January 2, 2014
This vent-free firebox can accept almost any of our 20" or 24" ventless gas log sets. Please see our full selection below:
Ventless Gas Logs
Be sure to choose the appropriate fuel type for your application (natural gas or propane), as these ventless log sets cannot be field-converted. If you have any questions about any particular log set or their pilot kits, please let us know.

I have a Majestic fireplace insert, model # 126001241. However, it is probably over 20 years old and is very similar to the Majestic Universal Radiant Firebox shown here. I need the refractory stone backing and floor of the fireplace. The side stone is OK but the floor and back pieces are cracked. Can I get these panels?

My back firebrick panel is cracked. How do I remove the side panel to get to the back?
By eFireplaceStore on December 10, 2014
Answer:Per the manufacturer, this model does have side retaining brackets/rails that are located at the top of each side refractory. Removal of those retaining brackets will allow you to tilt the side panels inward and remove them. This will then allow access to the back panel.

I have this item, but the previous owner did not leave the owner's manual and I don't know how to light it.
By Will M. on November 29, 2016
Answer:This product is simply a firebox made for use with separately purchased vent free logs in natural gas or liquid propane. Subsequently, there would be no lighting instructions. To locate this information, you will need to locate the make and model number which should be locate on a set of metal tags that the installer likely tucked underneath the burner. From here, the manufacturer may be contacted for lighting instructions.
