Brian from Bradford asked:
Can your gas fireplace heat your home during a power outage?
Can your gas fireplace heat your home during a power outage?
Yes, a majority of the gas fireplaces we carry can operate in a power outage. You will lose the use of the circulating blowers, but the units will produce the same BTU. Millivolt units will not require any power for the pilot and burner. IPI units will use a battery back up to power the fireplace during a power outage.
