I have a Majestic Wood Burning Fireplace that I'm tired of cleaning and watching most the heat go through the chimney, The model number is either BT842 or BT642. It's so hard to tell with the distortion from the heat. This is not a brick chimney, but a pipe with fire board. The back panel has a crack, and I need to do something to correct this problem. I'm thinking of a vent free fireplace that uses natural gas that has a blower and a remote and a thermostat. It will not be my primary source of heat. I have a gas furnace as well. I was thinking of ceramic panels with a washed brick look and an electric starter for the logs. What can you tell me?

Looking for a natural gas vent free fireplace insert with a blower, thermostat, and a remote. I currently have a 42 inch majestic wood burning I'll be getting rid of.

Answer:Please reply with either the model details of the fireplace you will be removing or your available framed opening and I can recommend a vent-free fireplace unit to replace your current model. You may reply to this email or call me (Tyler) at 901-786-6861 to discuss.
