A wood burning stove brings classic coziness to your home while providing impressive heating power. The Napoleon Timberwolf 2100 Economizer Wood Burning Stove is a reliable alternative to clunky, unreliable heating systems and inefficient wood fireplaces. This sturdy, steel-body stove produces mountains of heat within its closed combustion chamber and radiates that heat into your home as it burns. A large viewing window provides plenty of space to sit back and admire the wood fire within, and the choice between bases gives you a layer of customization to help it fit seamlessly into your home.

Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 6" inner diameter.

Please Note: Ash pan attachment pictured above must be purchased separately. Make sure to match ash pan to stove base selection.

not a perfect stove

Used this stove for one winter. Please be aware that the sales price does not include legs! Very small lip on the front of the firebox. As a result, ashes quickly accumulate and fall out when you open the door. Use small wood to avoid damage to or knocking out the thin fire shields at the top of the top inside of the firebox. You can't just throw wood inside or you will risk damaging either the shields or the fire brick. You must use very dry wood. Otherwise you will need to run lots of air to keep a reasonable fire, then the wood burns up too quickly. Use this stove only for small areas. The door handle / latch does work well and make a good seal, but the door gasket is very easy to fray or damage. I removed one of the side heat shields (easy to do) to get more radiant heat.

Pros

Not much smoke.

Cons

Fragile materials.

Cons

The fact that we waited so long to update and buy the Timberwolf.
