This lovely fireplace comes with a lot of options. You have options for the facing and the interior surfaces, and you can even choose andirons that are designed to work with the gas log set that comes with the unit. The beautiful front has a large heat radiating ceramic glass viewing area. This fireplace produces up to 26,000 BTU and uses the Millivolt system to light without electricity. The Phazeramic burner system features a yellow dancing flame and a glowing ember bed for a natural-looking fire. The gas supply is protected against leaks with the 100% Safe Guard control system. The unit even comes with a night light. You can use the concealed easy-to-use controls, but an included hand-held remote can be used to control the light, blower speed, flame height, and heat output. A President's limited lifetime warranty applies to this item.
Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 4" inner diameter.

Is the glass always sealed?
The glass always needs to be sealed in direct vent fireplaces so the fireplace can draft properly and draw its burn air from outside of the home. Here is a link to the owner's manual and spec sheet.

The glass size is 29" H x 22" W or 638 square inches. The corner installation instructions can be viewed on page 28 of the product manual.

Going to Get More
After looking for something to complement the decorations in several of our rooms, we decided to test this unit. Although there was a little confusion when ordering the unit (the SKU for part of the fireplace is easily confused for the one that contains all the installation kits as well), we couldn't be happier with the end result. It heats the room well, and has an elegant design. We'll probably use some in other rooms as well.
