Napoleon provides the easy solution of enjoying a roaring fire in more than one room of your home with their line of direct vent and see-thru gas fireplaces. No need to cut, carry, and pile wood, or struggle to keep the kindling lit. This two-sided natural gas fireplace also comes with a propane conversion kit. The fire is controlled by an electronic ignition gas valve that has battery backup in case of power outage. Choose from three different log sets. Enjoy the warmth and ambiance from two adjoining rooms. Optional media kits and decorative panels can be added to enhance your decor.
Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 5" inner diameter.

No, this fireplace can only be used as an indoor/indoor unit.

Gas modulation refers to the ability to adjust the flame from low to high which increases/decreases the height of the flame and the BTU output.

Is there a fan? The remote control shows a fan. Also, is there a lighting package that would enhance this unit?
No, there is no blower option for this unit, nor is there a light kit. The remote control shows a fan option because that same remote is used with other models that do have such an option. We apologize for the confusion.
