Are the panels made of clear glass? Because
It looks opaque in the picture. Are these approved for safety?

Answer:The panels for this screen are actually made out of a fine screen mesh that has been powder coating black, like the rest of the frame.
While no specific safety testing has been done on this product, it is designed to prevent small embers and fly ash from escaping into the room.
